AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH FOSTER &
KLEISER CORPORATION AND ELLER OUTDOOR ADVERTISING
CO. OF CALIFORNIA, INC. CONCERNING SETTLEMENT OF
LAW SUITS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Mayor and City Clerk be, and each hereby is, authorized to
execute and to attest to, respectively, on behalf of the City,
a settlement agreement with Foster & Kleiser Corporation, a
division of Metromedia, and Eller 'rOutdoor Advertising Co. of
California, Inc., setting forth certain terms and conditions
upon which the parties to Alameda County Superior Court Actions
No. 445916 -3 and No. 510057 -0 agree not to appeal from the
Judgments therein, said agreement to be substantially in the
form of that heretofore placed in the Office of the City Clerk
and marked "Filed, December 23, 1980.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the
Council of the City of Alameda in a special meeting assembled
on the 23rd day of December, 1980, by the following vote, to
wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman and
President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
the official seal of said City this 24th day of December, 1980.
