APPROVING FINAL MAP OF SUBDIVISION KNOWN AS TRACT
4361 AND ACCEPTING CERTAIN DEDICATED PUBLIC STREETS,
EASEMENTS AND RIGHTS OF ACCESS (DIVIDEND DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION - VILLAGE I NORTHWEST)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 1, Chapter 3, Title XI of
e Alameda Municipal Code, there has heretofore been filed
, and approved by the Council. a Tentative Map of that certain
proposed subdivision known as Tract 3810; and
WHEREAS, on December 5, 1978, this Council approved the
Final Map of Tract 4120, a subdivision of Lots 2 and 3, Block 2
of Tract 3810; and
WHEREAS, Dividend Development Corporation, a California
corporation, subdivider herein, has presented to the Council for
approval a Final Map of that proposed subdivision known as
Tract 4361 which is a subdivision of Lot 1, Block 2; Tract 3810
and a portion of Lot 67, Tract 4120; and
WHEREAS, said Final Map delineates thereon certain non -
exclusive easements designated "Public Utilities Easement (P.U.E.)
and "Storm Drain Easement" (S.D.E.), and parcels of land known
as Charming Way, Cove Road, Capetown Drive and Sandpiper Place
dedicated to the public; and rights of access over all of Parcels
"A" and "B" for pedestrians and Parcel "C" for purposes of lagoon
maintenance and operations of public safety vehicles and emergency
equipment dedicated to the City of Alameda;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Final Map of Tract 4361 be and hereby is,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said easements and parcels of
land dedicated to the public are hereby accepted, on behalf of
the public, for use in conformity with the terms of the offers
of dedication; and said access rights dedicated to the City of
Alameda are hereby accepted on behalf of the City.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the
Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled
on the 6th day of January, 1981, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman and
President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
