AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS WITH
ENGINEER AND ATTORNEYS FOR EAST ALAMEDA PARKING
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, this Council desires to undertake proceedings
pursuant to appropriate assessment and assessment bond acts for
the acquisition and construction of public improvements, and

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager and City Clerk be, and each
hereby is, authorized to execute and to attest to, respectively,
on behalf of the City, an Agreement for Legal Services between
the City of Alameda and Jones Hall Hill & White in connection
with the East Alameda Parking Assessment District.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that:

2. The City Manager and City Clerk be, and each hereby
is, authorized to execute and to attest t o re sped ively, on
behalf of the City, an agreement with said Engineer and that
the fee to be paid said Engineer shall not exceed the um of
$80,000m
The Acting City Engineer of the City is hereby directed
ne and approve the engineering documents, and to provide
peetion of the construction of said improvements and to
ept said work when it is satisfactorily completed. The cost
said inspection shall be assessed as an incidental expense
ad proceedings.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the
Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned regular meeting
assembled on the 26th of January, 1981, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Tillman, and
President Corica - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Stone - 1.
