CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 9504
COMMENDING WALTER NYLAND FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA/BUREAU OF ELECTRICITY
WHEREAS, Walter Nyland has been a dedicated employee of the Citv
of Alameda/Bureau of Electricity l4 years and 4 months and has served in City
the positions of Utility Accountant, Senior Utilitv Accountant, Utility
Accounting Supervisor, and Finance Manager; and

WHEREAS, hehas served as Secretary to the Public Utilities
Board of the City of Alameda since October, 1975; and
WHEREAS Walter Ryland has demonstrated his v and competence
in his performance of his duties and has won the respect and admiration
Of his friends and colleagues and will be greatly missed by them all;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the CitV
of Alameda commends and acknowledges with pride and esteem the years ` of
service rendered by this faithful employee and officer; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 'Council of the City of Alameda
and his many friends throughout the community extend to "Walter" hearty
congratulations and best wishes for good health and happiness in the years
to come. ~
