AMENDING THE COMBINED LAND USE PLAN OF THE GENERAL
PLAN OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA BY AMENDING THE LAND USE
PLAN MAP DESIGNATION AND RELATED TEXT FOR POPE/WEBSTER
STREET SITE OF MAKASSAR STRAITS VILLAGE FROM OPEN
SPACE TO SPECIAL MULTI- FAMILY
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 9105, adopted July 3, 1979
the City adopted as its Combined Land Use Plan that cer
document entitled "Combined Land Use Plan - Land Use, Open Space
and Circulation — Alameda, California - Proposed September 1977"
with revision entitled "City of Alameda - Combined Land Use Plan
Land Use, Open Space and Circulation - Revised by the Planning
Board February, 1979." in accordance with Sections 65302 and
following of the Government Code of California; and
WHEREAS, there has been prepared an amendmen
Combined Land Use Plan to change the Land Use Plan

text of said Plan to be consistent with the map designation change,
the same having been considered by the Planning Board, which duly
noticed and held public hearings thereon, and which, on, February 9;
1981, by its Resolution No 1128, approved said amendment and
recommended adoption thereof by the City; and
WHEREAS, on March 17; 1981, the Council received said
Board's recommendations, held a public hearing on the questions of
whether said amendment to the Combined Land Use Plan conforms to
general law and whether its adoption would be in the public
interest, heard testimony and took other evidence thereon, follow-
ing which said Council considered the matter and was fully advised
in the premises;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City's Combined Land Use Plan is amended as
follows;
1. Tr Land Use Plan' Map designation for Pope/Webster Street
(2100 - 2400 Pope Street and 2100 2400 Webster Street) is hereby
changed from Open Space to Special Multi- Family;
2, On Page; 125, under Open Space Recommendations, Section 2
is hereby deleted in its entirety;
3a On Page 140, under Open Space Recommezidatzons, Section 3
is hereby amended to read.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th of March, l98l

AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman and
President Corica - G.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
