Resolution 09515CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 9515 AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF OAKLAND TO FILE A CLAIM WITH THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR 1981 -82 TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT ARTICLE 4.5 FUNDS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA TO OPERATE AND ADMINISTER THE ZONE 1 ACCESSIBLE -VAN PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ANY AGREEMENTS WHICH MIGHT BE NECESSARY TO ADMINISTER SAID FUNDS WHEREAS, on April 15, 1980 the City Council of the City of Alameda approved Alameda's participation in the Alameda County Zone 1 Accessible Van Program; and WHEREAS, the City of Oakland has been designated as the administrative agent for the Alameda County Zon Program, and Accessible Van WtiEREAS,the City of Oakland has agreed to claim and admin- ister Transportation Development Act 4.5 funds for accessible -van services on behalf of the City of Alameda and its disabled resi- dents; and WHEREAS, the necessary administrative arrangements are detailed in the Zone 1 Accessible -Van Program - application being submitted to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission by the City of Oakland; and WHEREAS, it is residents to have acce as those provided thro he best interests o alternate modes the Zone 1 Access NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TH OF ALAMEDA that the City of Oakland is auth application to the - `Metropolitan Transportat 1981 -82 Transportation Development Act 4.5 City of Alameda for the specific purpose of ing the Zone 1 Accessible --Van Program for disabled citizens, and of A lameda's disabled of transportation such ble -Van Program; COUNCIL OF THE CITY ized to submit an on Commission for unds on behalf of the operating and administer- e benefit of Alameda's BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized to execute any further agreements with the City of Oakland which may be necessary to facilitate the administration and operation of the Zone 1 Accessible -Van Program I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th of April, 1981, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman and President Corica - 5.
