DECLARING THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
AS THE COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2507 a Housing Authority was
established within the City of Alameda;
WHEREAS, the enabling legislation permits the governing body
of the City to declare itself the Commissioners of said Authority
at any time
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alameda finds that
it is in the best interest of the community, at this time, for the
Council to sit as Commissioners of the Housing Authority;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City Council of the City of Alameda, as the
governing body thereof, hereby declares itself the Commission of
the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Rules of Order set out in
Section 2-117 of the Alameda Municipal Code shall be the rules for
the conduct of the meetings of said Authority and that the agendas
thereof shall continue to use the customary headings, Roll Call,
Minutes, Bills and Disbursement, Written Communications, Oral
Communications, Commission Report, Report of Executive Director,
Report of Counsel, Unfinished Business, New Business and Announce-
ments.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Authority shall regularly
meet on the third Tuesday of each month at the hour of
or at such time as said meeting may be adjourned or special meeting
called.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the
Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled
on the 7th of April" 1981, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Sherratt, Stone and Tillman- 3.
NOES: Councilman Diament and President Corica - 2.
ABSENT: None.
