CONSENT TO ALLOW SUBLEASE OF PORTIONS OF PROPERTY
UNDER LEASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AND HARBOR
TUG AND BARGE COMPANY
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of December, 1978, a lease of
certain real property owned by the City of Alameda was entered
into by and between the City of Alameda, as Lessor, and Harbor
Tug and Barge Company; and
WHEREAS, said lease requires Lessee to secure City
Council approval before subletting any portion thereof; and
WHEREAS, Harbor Tug and Barge Company now desires to
sublet portions of the leasehold to Longhorn Construction Company
for a term no longer than that contained in the original lease
and has requested the City Council to consent to said sublease;
NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said Council does hereby consent to the slab -
lease of a portion of the leasehold set forth in that certain
lease dated December 1, 1978, by and between the City of Alameda
and Harbor Tug and Barge Company; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of
Alameda be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute, on behalf
of .t }ie City of Alameda, the consent of this Council to said
sublease. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 5th of May, 1981, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman, and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
