AWARDING CONTRACT FOR MINOR STREET PATCHING WITH
ASPHALT CONCRETE TO BEPCO, INC. AND AUTHORI7ING
EXECUTION
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for minor street patching with
asphalt concrete during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1982,
in accordance with Specifications No PW 5 -81-4 approved
May 19, 1981; and
WHEREAS; in response to said notice a sealed bid was sub -
mitted by BEPCO, INC, agreeing to perform said minor street
patching in accordance with said Specifications for the unit
price of $2.27 per square foot;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said firm of BEPCO, INC. is a responsible bidder
and that the proposal submitted by said bidder is the lowest and
best bid received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of BEPCO, INC. be
accepted, and the contract for minor street' patching with asphalt
concrete daring the fiscal year ending June 30, 1982, in
accordance with Specifications No PW 5 -81 -4 be awarded to said
bidder; and that the Mayor be authorized to execute, and the City
Cleric to attest, said cont on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on 16th day of June, 1981
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Stone, and Vice Mayor Sherratt -
NOES: None.
ABSENT: President Corica
