AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY AND
EAST BAY REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT FOR MANAGEMENT OF 'TII
ALAMEDA SOUTH SF30RE BEACH AND ROBERT CROWN MEMORIAL
STATE BEACH IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda and East Bay Regional Park
District (EBRPD), a California Special District, have approved a
plan to control erosion and to restore the South Shore Beach and
Robert Crown Memorial State .Beach in the City of Alameda;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: BY THE COUNCIL OF 'fHE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda, the Agreement
Between the City of Alameda and East Bay Regional Park District
or Project Management for the Robert Crown Memorial State Beach
which sets forth the duties and responsibilities of the City and
EBRPD in connection with the improvement project. The City Clerk
is hereby directed to attest to same.
T, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on 16th day of June, 1981
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Stone, and Vice Mayor Sherratt - 4
NOES: None.
ABSENT: President Corica - 1
