APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE
ALAMEDA POLICE ASSOCIATION AND T:iIE 'ITY OF ALAMEDA
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this Council a
proposed Memorandum of Understanding between the Alameda Police
Association and the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda has fully
examined said proposed < Memorandum of Understanding and thereby
finds that said proposed Memorandum of Understanding is in the
best interests of the City of Alameda;
NO"W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that said Council hereby adopts and approves
said proposed Memorandum of Understanding.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the position classifications,
salary rates, salary ranges and salary steps set out in said
Memorandum of Understanding are hereby designated as those
applicable to the respective ; classifications in the senvice
of the City of Alameda, effective July 1, 1981.

City of Alameda in Special Meeting assembled on the 21st day
