AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LOAN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA AND THE CALIFORNIA ENERGY COMMISSION
FOR STREETLIGHT CONVERSION FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda is committed to energy con -
servation in all City facilities and public works, and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that the conversion of
certain streetlights will reduce energy consumption within the
City; and
WHEREAS, the California
City of Alameda's application for loan funds to carry out a
streetlight conversion project;
Commission has approved the
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said City is authorized to enter into a loan
agreement with the California Energy Commission for funds to
carry out a streetlight conversion project
