Resolution 09614CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 9614 APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR FUNDS UNDER THE NEJEDLY HART STATE, URBAN AND COASTAL PARK BOND ACT OF 1976 FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS DISPLAY AT THE ALAMEDA HISTORICAL MUSEUM AND FOR REFURBISHMENT OF AREAS OF THE ALAMEDA CITY HALL Registe Histori' Places; AS, the Alameda City Hall is listed in the National f Historic Places; and REAS, the Alameda High School, site of the Alameda al Museum, is listed in the National Reg and Historic WHEREAS, the people of the State of California have enacted the State, Urban and Coastal Park Bond Act of 1976, which pro- vides funds to the State of California and its political subdivisions for acquiring lands and for developing facilities for public recreation and historical purposes; and WHEREAS, been delegated program within governing appl State Department of Parks and Recreation has responsibility for the administration of the state, setting up necessary procedures n by local agencies under the program; and WHEREAS, said procedures established by the State Department of Parks and Recreation require the applicant to certify by esolut"on the approval of applications prior to submission of said applications to the state; and WHEREAS, said applications contain assurances that applicant must comply with; and WHEREAS, the applicant agency will ent with the State of California for the development of the project; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said Council hereby: an agreement 1. Approves the filing of an application for 1976 sta grant assistance to develop the Historical Artifacts Display the Alameda Historical Museum and for refurbishment of areas of the Alameda City Hall; and 2. Certifies that said City understands the assurances in the application; and Ce funds to ope es than said City has or will have sufficient ate and maintain the project; and 4. Certifies that said City has reviewed and understands the General Prova.sons contained in the sample state /local agree- ment; and 5.
