AMENDING SERVICE CONTRACT WITH GATES McDONALD FOR
CITY OF ALAMEDA /BUREAU OF ELECTRICITY SELF - INSURANCE
WORKERS COMPENSATION CLAIMS ADMINISTRATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on November 1; 1976, the City of Alameda /Bureau of
Electricity and Gates, McDonald & Company entered into an agree-
ment for the purpose of providing claims administration services
for the City of Alameda/Bureau of Electricity's self insurance
Workers' Compensation program, and
WHEREAS, an amendment to said agreement has been prepared
and submitted to the Council,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager be and hereby is authorized to
execute, and the City Clerk to attest to an amendment to the
agreement heretofore on November 1; 1976, entered into between
the City of of Electricity and Gates, McDonald &
Company, said amendment herein authorized to change the term to
reflect a new one -year period commencing November 1, 1981, and
terminating October 31, 1982, and to increase the service fee
from $11,979 to $13,500 per year effective November 1, 1981.

was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th of November, 1981,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Dia0ento Gorman, Sherratt, Stone, and President Corica - 5~
