AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A MODIFICATION OF THE
AGREEMENT VWITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT
OF TRANSPORTATION, FOR PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING AND
RIGHT -OF -WAY SERVICES FOR TFIE PATTON WAY PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to - execute, -and the City
Clerk to attest to a modification of the agreement heretofore
on May 17, 1978, entered into between the City and the State of
California, acting by and through its Department of Transportation,
for engineering and other services for the Patton Way Project,
said modification herein authorized to provide for the assumption
of design and environmental document processing by the City, modi-
fication. of the design to reflect the latest changes by the City's
design consultant and update of the project costs to reflect the
most recent estimates.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of December, 1981,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: N0ne,
