ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR ADDITIONS
AND ALTERIATIONS TO TIIE BOAT LAUNCHING RAMP AT THE
NORTH END OF GRAND STREET, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, specifications and plans have been prepared,
P.W. 12- 81 -13, for additions and alterations to the Boat Launching
Ramp located at the north end of Grand Street,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT. RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the said Specifications be, and the same are,
hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock
a.m. on FRIDAY, JANUARY 22, 1982, for furnishing to the City of
all labor, materials, machinery,, tools and equipment necessary
for the work herenabove referred to, in accordance with said Speci-
cations and Plans Bids must be presented_ to the City Clerk, in
the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly
marked on the outside, "Proposal for Additions and Alterations
to the Boat Launching Ramp," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded_ subject to the pro-
visions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible
bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications may be had by, any prospective bidder
on application to the Director of Public Works, at his office in
the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the
Alameda Times -Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in
accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said
specifications and plans.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of December, 1981,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Didment, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
