AWARDING CONTRACT TO J. E. McAMIS INDUSTRIES FOR
DREDGING AT THE SMALL BOAT RAMP AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Dredging at the Small Boat
Ramp to be located near the Naval Air Station in accordance with
Specifications No. P.W. 1-81-1-B, approved on October 27, 1981; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was sub-
mitted by J. E. McAmis Industries agreeing to perform the dredging
at the small boat ramp in accordance with said specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that J. E. McAmis Industries is a responsible bidder
and that the proposal submitted by said bidder is the lowest and
best bid received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of J. E. McAmis
Industries be accepted, the contract for Dredging at the Small
Boat Ramp be awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor be and hereby is
authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract
on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the Undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and pasSed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of December, 1981,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica -
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None,
