AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH HARBOR BAY
ISLE ASSOCIATES FOR EXPANSION OF HARBOR BAY PARKWAY
WHEREAS, a proposed agreement between Harbor Bay Isle
Associates and the City of Alameda regarding the Harbor Bay Park-
way Expansion Project has been submitted to this Council and the
Council is fully informed and aware of the terms and conditions
thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City that said
agreement be entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda, that certain
agreement referred to above by and between Harbor Bay Isle Associates
and the City of Alameda in connection with the widening and improve-
ment of the intersection of Harbor Bay Parkway and Doolittle Drive
and the extension of Harbor Bay Parkway as a four-lane roadway
in a westerly direction approximately 1765 feet beyond. Maitland
Drive. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to same.
I` the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of December, 1981,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diam2Ot, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
