ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR HARBOR BAY
PARKWAY IMPROVEMENTS (DOOLITTLE DRIVE INTERSECTION
AND EXTENSION SOUTHERLY FROM MAITLAND DRIVE),
CALLING FOR AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE
SAME
WHEREAS, specifications and plans have been prepared,
P.W.
12-81-12, for Harbor Bay Parkway improvements (Door_ttle
Drive Intersection and extension southerly from Maitland Drive),
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the said Specifications be, and the same are,
hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FUR'T'HER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock
a.m. on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 1982, for furnishing to the City of
all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary
for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said
Specifications and. Plans. Bids must be presented to the City
Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover
and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Harbor Bay Park-
way Improvements," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the pro-
visions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible
bidder who submits the lowest and best bid The right is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications may be had by any prospective bidder
on applicaton to the Director of Public Works, at his office in
the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the
Alameda. Times- Star, a notice calling for seated bids, in
accordance with the provisions 0 this resolution and of said
specifications and plans
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled 00 the 5th of January, 1982,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone, and President Corica - 5.
NOES: NOne,
ABSENT: None.
