Resolution 09667CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 9667 REQUESTING CALTRANS TO APPROVE WIDENING OF DOOLITTLE DRIVE, STATE ROUTE 61, AT THE INTERSECTION OF HARBOR BAY PARKWAY WHEREAS, by Jts Resolution No. 8617, adopted on October 26, 1976, this Council requested the State Highway Commission to postpone any action and/or consideration of widening the section of roadway on Doolittle Drive between Island Drive and City Line Road (now Harbor Bay Parkway) at the Alameda- Oakland border_ until such time as the City of Alameda specifically requested such con- sideration and improvement; and WHEREAS, it is now in the best interests of the City of Alameda that Harbor Bay Parkway be improved, and plans prepared for said improvement include widening of Doolittle Drive at its intersection with Harbor Bay Parkway; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said Council hereby requests that CALTRANS approve and allow the City of Alameda to widen Doolittle Drive, State Route 61, at its intersection with harbor Bay Parkway. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th of January, 1982, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone, and President Corica - NOES: None.
