APPROVING FINAL MAP OF SUBDIVISION KNOWN AS TRACT 4136
AND ACCEPTING CERTAIN DEDICATED PARCELS OF LAND -
WATERFORD TERRACE (PONDEROSA HOMES, SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, there has been heretofore filed with and approved
by this Council a Tentative Map of that certain proposed sub-
division known as Tract 4136; and
WHEREAS, Ponderosa Homes, a General Partnership, and
Ronald H. Cowan, owners herein, have presented to the Council for
approval a Final Map of that proposed subdivision known as Tract
4136 which is a subdivision of property located south of the
Fernside Boulevard /Washington Street intersection and bounded by
Lincoln School, San Leandro Bay, the Aeolian Yacht Club and vacant
land; and
WHEREAS, said Final Map delineates thereon certain portions
of Fernside Boulevard, Washington Street and Washington Court
dedicated to the public for the uses and purposes of public streets
and Lot "A" dedicated to the City for public access and public
-recreation uses;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Final Map of Tract 4236 be, and hereby is,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said parcels of land dedicated
to the public are hereby accepted, on behalf of the public, for
use in conformity with the terms of the offers of dedication,
and said parcel of land dedicated to the City of Alameda, designated
on said Final Map as Lot "A ", is hereby accepted.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the
Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled
on the 19th of January, 1982, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone, and
President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
