AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH STONE & YOUNGBERG
MUNICIPAL FINANCING CONSULTANTS, INC. FOR THE DEVELOPMENT
OF A PLAN OF PROCEDURE FOR THE SALE OF REVENUE ANTICIPATION
NOTES OR TAX ANTICIPATION NOTES
WHEREAS, the City is considering the sale of revenue antici-
pation notes or tax anticipation notes; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to retain and employ the services
of a financing consultant to develop a feasible, economical and
equitable plan of procedure for the sale of said notes; and
WHEREAS, Stone & Youngberg Municipal Financing Consultants,
Inc. is qualified and desires to provide said services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Ma-or and City Clerk be and each hereby is,
authorized and directed to execute and to attest to, respectively,
on behalf of the City, that certain proposed Contract Employing
Financing Consultant with Stone & Youngberg Municipal Financing
Consultants, Inc, which provides for its services in developing
a feasible, economical and equitable plan of procedure to carry
through to completion the sale of revenue anticipation notes or
tax anticipation notes, said contract to be substantially in the
form of that on file in the office of the City Clerk and marked
"Filed, February 2, 1982."
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd of February, 1982,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone, and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
