AUTHORIZING FOURTH OF JULY PARADE AND ROUTE THEREFOR
IN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
WHEREAS, the Mayor's 4th of July Parade Committee has sub-
mitted its request to hold the Mayor's Annual 4th of July Parade
on Sunday, July 4th, 1982 at 1:30 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the suggested route for said Parade is attached
hereto; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the proposed route is located on a
state highway route;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor's
Annual 4th of July Parade on Sunday, July 4th, 1982 at 1:30 P.M.,
said Parade to follow the route as set out on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Reso ution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on 2nd of Ma ch, 1982,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Coucilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
