Resolution 09717CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 9717 AMENDING THE COMBINED LAND USE PLAN OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA TO ELIMINATE INTERNAL INCONSISTENCIES, AND TECHNICAL AND TYPOGRAPHIC ERRORS WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 9105, adopted July 3, 1979, the City adopted as its Combined Land Use Plan that certain document entitled "Combined Land Use Plan - Land Use, Open Space and Circulation - Alameda, California Proposed ,September 1977" with revision entitled "City of Alameda - Combined Land Use Paln - Land Use, Open Space and Circulation - revised by the Planning Board February, 1979" in accordance with Sections 65302 and following of the Government Code of California; and WHEREAS, there have been prepared amendments to said Combined Land Use Plan to eliminate internal inconsistencies, and technical and typographic errors, the same having been considered by the Planning Board, which duly noticed and held public hearings thereon, and which., on December 28, -1981, by its Resolution No.1218, approved said amendments and recommended adoption thereof by the City; and WHEREAS, on February 16, 1982, the Council received said Board's recommendations, held a public hearing on the questions of whether said amendments to the Combined Land Use Plan conform to general law and whether the adoption thereof would be in the public interest, heard testimony and took other evidence thereon, following which said Council considered the matter and was fully advised in the premises; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the City's Combined Land Use Plan is amended as follows; Page 195 -B: 1. Eliminate the graphic scale and add the legend Not to Scale 2. Delete the open space buffer designation along Catalina Avenue adjacent to planned residential uses within Tract 4500. Page 196 -B: 1. Delete the bicycle circulation system symbol along Catalina Avenue easterly from the intersection of Aughinbaugh Way and Bay Edge Road, 2. Add a bicycle circulation system symbol southerly from the end of Island Drive at its intersection with Catalina Avenue to the bicycle circulation symbol along the northerly side of Harbor Bay Parkway. Delete the road symbol for the extension of Catalina Avenue easterly of Leeward Lane. 4. Delete the road symbol connecting Magnolia Drive with Harbor Bay Parkway. Page 196-A: 1. Delete "1. Magnolia Drive extended into City Line Road." 2. Renumber remaining items to proper sequence. 3. In the last numbered item amend the parenthetical phrase to read "(Now called Harbor Bay Parkway)" by inserting the word Harbor. Page 198-A: 1. Amend the footnote to read "9/24/80 approved by the Planning Board" by inserting the word Board in place of the word Department. Pages 199-200-A: 1. Amend c.(2) to read "(2) Eastern extension of Catalina" by inserting the word Catalina in place of the word California. 2. Amend c.(2)(a) to read "(a) Catalina Avenue should not be extended beyond its proposed terminus at the east side of the Victorian Village Development." by deleting the remainder of subsection (a). 3. Delete c.(2)(e) entirely. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th of March, 1982, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone, and President Corica - 5.
