CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 9729
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
VOLUNTEERS FOR THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
IN COMMEMORATION OF NATIONAL VOLUNTEERS' WEEK
WHEREAS, Citizens and friends of the City of
Alameda have donated countless hours of their time to
the City through various City departments, and;
WHEREAS, the dedication of our volunteers and the
many valuable services that these people have performed
have enriched the City government's efforts to maintain
the quality.of life desired by the City's residents,
and;
WHEREAS, the entire community benefits from the
enriched level of service provided by dedicated
volunteers, and;
WHEREAS, the City wishes to acknowledge that
April 18 through April 24 has been declared National
Volunteer's Week;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that it strongly supports the City
of Alameda Volunteer Program and looks forward to its
continued growth and the opportunity to utilize the
0 talents of the many people who contribute so generously.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the CITY COUNCILtharks
and commends the devoted volunteers and their.outstarlding
efforts over the past years.
