AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH
PARCEL, MAP NO 3755 AND APPROVING FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE
BOND AS TO SUFFICIENCY (ALAMEDA MARINA VILLAGE -
ALAMEDA MARINA VILLAGE ASSOCIATES, SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11- 319.1 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, there has been presented to this Council a
Parcel Map, designated Parcel Map No 3755, and heretofore con -
ditionally approved by the Planning Board, being a division of
property within Alameda Marina Village, by Alameda Marina Village
Associates, a California limited partnership, as subdivider; and
WHEREAS, said approval by the Planning Board is conditioned
upon the subdivider constructing and completing certain public
improvements on said property; and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered into an agreement
and has posted its bond guaranteeing full and faithful
performance of said work, all in accordance with said section;
and
WHEREAS it will be to the benefit of the City to have
said work performed in accordance therewith;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the agreement for the construction and completion
of the improvements in the subdivision of property located in
Alameda Marina Village, designated as Parcel. Map; No 3755, by
Alameda Marina Village Associates be and the same hereby is
approved and the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute,
and the City Clerk to attest, said agreement on behalf of the
City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond in the sum of
$27, 800.00, guaranteeing full and faithful performance of said
agreement, is hereby approved as sufficient in amount.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in a regular adjourned meeting assembled on May 11, 1982,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
