APPROVING TENTATIVE MAP FOR TRACT 5049, A SUBDIVISION
OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 716 CENTRAL AVENUE, FINDING
SAID TENTATIVE MAP CONSISTENT WITH THE CITY'S GENERAL
PLAN AND DETERMINING THAT DISCHARGE OF WASTE INTO
SEWER SYSTEM WILL NOT VIOLATE REGIONAL WATER QUALITY
CONTROL REGULATIONS (SHUWA INVESTMENTS CORPORATION)
WHEREAS, Shuwa Investments Corporation, owner and subdivider
herein, has presented to the Council for approval a Tentative
Map for Tract 5049, a subdivision of property located at 716
Central Avenue, a 2.22 acre parcel southeast of the intersection
of Webster Street and Central Avenue, and known as Playa de la
Alameda; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, on June 1, 1982, held a public
hearing on said Tentative Map.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to Section 11-3112 of the Alameda Municipal
Code, the Tentative Map for Tract 5049, heretofore accepted and
approved by the Planning Board on May 18, 1982, and based upon
the findings and subject to the conditions contained in City of
Alameda Planning Board Resolution No. 1245, is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section 11-3112(f)
of the Alameda Municipal Code the City Council hereby finds the
Tentative Map for Tract 5049 is consistent with the City's General
Plan, and pursuant to Section 11-3112(h) determines that discharge
of waste from the subdivision into the sewer system will not violate
regional water quality control regulations.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 1st day of June, 1982,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen DidmeDt, Sherratt and President Corica - 3.
NOES; Councilmen Gorman and 5t0n� - 2
