AUTHORIZING OPEN MARKET PURCHASE OF ENGINEERING
COMPUTATION EQUIPMENT IN CONJUNCTION WITH HARBOR
BAY ISLE BUSINESS PARK ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Harbor Bay Business Park Assessment District
budget includes funds for the purchase of engineering computa-
tion equipment; and
WHEREAS, the demands of the project necessitate the need
for immediate use of this equipment; and
WHEREAS, this industry is not suited to competitive bidding
as each company has its own specialty features and the industry
is currently changing due to new technology;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to Section 3-15 of the City Charter the
City Manager be and hereby is authorized to negotiate to purchase
on the open market Engineering computation equipment in conjunc-
tion with the Harbor Bay Isle Business Park Assessment District.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled .on the 1st day of June, 1932,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: N0n2,
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official
