AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
REHABILITATION LOAN PROGRAM OPERATING AGREEMENT BETWEEN
CITY AND SECURITY PACIFIC NATIONAL BANK
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda has allocated Community
Development Block Grant funds for the purpose of providing
financial assistance for housing rehabilitation activities;
and
WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant regulations
permit the lump sum drawdown of said funds to establish a
Rehabilitation Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City has executed an Operating Agreement
with Security Pacific National Bank stipulating conditions
for the use and disbursement of said funds; and
WHEREAS, the City deems it necessary to amend said Agree-
ment to include Direct Loan activities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to
execute, and the City Clerk to attest, on behalf of the City,
an amendment to that certain Rehabilitation Loan Program Operat-
ing Agreement dated December 17, 1980, between the City and
Security Pacific National Bank, said amendment to be substantially
in the form of that on file in the office of the City Clerk
and marked "Filed June 15, 1982, and providing for the release
of funds for Locality Direct Loans.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of June, 1982"
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen DiDm2nt, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: NODe,
ABSENT: None.
