ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FOR MINOR STREET PATCHING WITH ASPIIALT CONCRETE; FOR
REPAIR OF PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE SIDEWALK AND DRIVEWAY
AND FOR INSTALLATION OF HOUSE LATERALS, FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1983, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications,
Special Provisions and Plans for MINOR STREET PATCHING WITII
ASPHALT CONCRETE for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1983, numbered.
P.W. 5 -82 -7 and filed with the City Clerk on June 15, 1982;
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications,
Special Provisions and Plans for the REPAIR OF PORTLAND CEMENT
CONCRETE SIDEWALK AND DRIVEWAY for the fiscal year ending
June 30, 1983, numbered P.W. 5-82-8 and filed with the City
Clerk on June 15, 1982;
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications,
Special Provisions and Plans for the INSTALLATION OF HOUSE LATERALS
for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1983, numbered P.W. 5 -82 -9
and filed with the City Clerk on June 15, 1982;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions
and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be and the same
are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 2:00 o'clock
p.m. on THURSDAY, JULY 1, 1982, in accordance with said Specifi-
cations and Provisions individually prepared therefor. Bids
must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, in Alameda,
California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside
with the designation of the fiscal year work to which said bid
applies.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the pro -
visions of the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder
who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any pros -
pective bidder 'on application to the City "Engineer, at his office
in the City Hall, Alameda; California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the
Alameda Times -Star, a notice calling -;for sealed bids in
accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said
Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of June, l9 B2,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Didment, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: N0De,
ABSENT: None.
