CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 9788
AUARDING CONTRACT FOR MECHANICAL SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE
AT THE POLICE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING TO JOHNSON
CONTROLS, INC. AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for mechanical systems maintenance
at the Police Administration Building in accordance with Specifica-
tions No. 5-82-4 approved on May 18, 1982; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was sub-
mitted by Johnson Controls, Inc. agreeing to perform all maintenance
for the mechanical systems at the Police Administration Building
for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1983.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said firm is a responsible bidder and that the proposal
submitted by said bidder is the lowest and best bid received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of Johnson Controls,
Inc. be accepted, the contract for mechanical systems maintenance
at the Police Administration Building for the fiscal year ending
June 30, 1983, be awarded to said bidder, and that the Mayor is hereby
authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract
on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th day of July, 1982,
bvthe following vote to wit:

NOES: None.
