AWARDING CONTRACT TO MONTEREY MECHANICAL CO. FOR
HARBOR BAY PARKWAY SANITARY SEWER PUMP STATION
IMPROVEMENTS AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Harbor Bay Parkway Sanitary
Sewer Pump Station Improvements in accordance with Specifications
and Plans No. PW 5-82-5, approved on June 1, 1982; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was submitted
by Monterey Mechanical Co. agreeing to construct said improvements
in accordance with said Specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said firm is a responsible bidder and that the
proposal submitted by said bidder is the lowest and best bid received;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of Monterey Mechanical
Co. be accepted, the contract for Harbor Bay Parkway Sanitary Sewer
Pump Station Improvements be awarded to said bidder and that the
Mayor be and hereby is authorized to execute, and the City Clerk
to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th day Of July" 1982,
bv'thc following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen DiameDt, 60rmdD, Sherratt and President Corica - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Stone - 1.
