AUTHORIZING OPEN MARKET PURCHASE
OF A REBUILT PORTABLE PUMP
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Equipment Replacement
Fund to purchase a 10-inch portable, 3,000-gallon per minute, self-
priming pump for maintenance service; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a considerable sum of
money will be saved by the purchase of a rebuilt pump which has
been located at PACO pumps in Oakland;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to Section 3-15 of the City Charter the
Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to arrange for purchase on
the open market of a rebuilt portable pump.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the Dth day of July, 1982,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen DiOmeDt, Oormun, Sherratt and President Corica - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Stone -
