AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CONTRACT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AND MKGK FOR THE PREPARATION
AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SECTION 312 LOAN APPLICATION
WHEREAS, Section 312 of the Housing Act of 1964, as amended,
authorizes local governmental agencies to submit proposals for
Section 312 loans on behalf of private property owners in the City;
and
WHEREAS, the City has submitted and received approval of
a proposal to rehabilitate the Alameda Hotel Apartments; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the Alameda Hotel Apartments will require
technical assistance in the preparation and implementation of said
project; and
WHEREAS, such technical assistance may be most effectively
and expeditiously provided through cooperative efforts of the City
and an independent consultant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager be and hereby is authorized to
execute, and the City Clerk to attest to, on behalf of the City
of Alameda, an agreement with MKGK Incorporated for technical
assistance services in connection with the preparation and implemen-
tation of a Section 312 Loan Project; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that cost of said services shall not
exceed the sum of $14,061 and payment for said services shall be
from Community Development Block Grant funds.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th day of July, 1982,
