CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO.
AWARDING CONTRACT TO GALLAGHER & BURK, INC. FOR
RESURFACING OF CITY HALL PARKING LOT AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Parking Lot Resurfacing at
City Hall/Police Administration Building in accordance with
Specifications and Plans No. PW 5-82-6, approved on June 15, 1982;
and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was submitted
by Gallagher & Burk, Inc. agreeing to resurface said parking lot
in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $16,661.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said firm is a responsible bidder and that the
proposal submitted by said bidder is the lowest and best bid
received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of Gallagher & Burk, Inc.
be accepted, the contract for resurfacing the City Hall parking
lot be awarded to said bidder and that the Mayor be and hereby is
authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract
on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th of July, 1982,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Stone, and President Corica - 4.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Sherratt 7 1.
