ACCEPTING PROPOSAL AS AGREEMENT (ALAMEDA MARINA VILLAGE
ASSOCIATES - FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
PROJECT IN ALAMEDA)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the proposed Letter of Agreement, dated June 23, 1982, a copy of
which is attached, in which Alameda Marina Village Associates agrees
to underwrite up to $60,000 of City costs for the establishment
of a Community Development Project in Alameda, is hereby accepted
and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute, and the City
Clerk to attest to, said Letter of Agreement on behalf of the City;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Letter of Agreement and
this acceptance shall constitute the contract of the parties hereto.

This is a proposed Letter of Agreement, in response co
your offer to underwrite up to $60,000 of City costs for t._S
establishment of a Community Development Project in Alameda.
An authorized signature below will constitute an
Agreement between Alameda Marina Village Associates and the City
Of Alameda, the full and complete terms of which are that Alameda
Marina Village Associates agrees to pay on demand* $60,000 to the
City for such services as may be needed by the City to establish
the proposed Community Development Project; in return for which
the City agrees to pursue a Community Development Project which
is intended to include those lands of the proposed Alameda Marina
Village Associates project on file with the'City.
Please sign, date and return two copies of this
Agreement and retain one copy for your files. On behalf of the
community I wish to express our appreciation and acceptance of
your offer.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on 20th of July, 1982,

NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Sherratt - 1.
