ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA ONE VAN VEHICLE FOR THE POLICE DEPARTP1ENT,
CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE
SAME
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Specifications for furnishing to the City of Alameda one (1)
Van Vehicle for the Alameda Police Department, No. MSP 7-82-2,
filed in the office of the City Clerk on August 3, 1982, be and
the same are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 a.m.
on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 1982, for furnishing to the City one
(1) van vehicle in accordance with said Specifications. Bids
must be presented to the City Clerk in the City Hall, Alameda,
California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for Van Vehicle for the Police Department," or similar
designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the pro-
visions of the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder
who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject anv or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the
Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in
accordance with the provisions of this Resolution and of said
Specifications.

City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd of August, 1982,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Stone President Corica - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Sherratt - 1.
