AUTHORIZING REPROGRAMMING OF UNEXPENDED SECOND AND
THIRD YEAR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
ENTITLEMENT FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $45,845 TO
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda is the recipient of Community
Development Block Grant Entitlement funds as authorized by the
Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended; and
WHEREAS, Second and Third Year projects for which said
funds were allocated have now been completed; and
WHEREAS, a balance of $45,845 in unexpended Second and
Third Year funds remains; and
WHEREAS, said funds may be reprogrammed pursuant to
Section 570. 312 of the Community Development Block Grant Entitle-
ment regulations; and
WHEREAS, citizen participation requirements have been
satisfied;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that unexpended Second and Third Year Community
Development Block Grant Entitlements funds in the amount of
$45,845 be reprogrammed to economic development activities
generally eligible under Sections 570.203 and 570.204 of the
Community Development Block Grant Entitlement Regulations, as
amended.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th of August, 1982,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
