Resolution 09866Oi G RESOLUTION NO. 9866 A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS ON RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 9680, AS AMENDED MAITLAND DRIVE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT 1982 -1 RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, California, that WHEREAS, this Council did on January 19, 1982, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 9680, as amended, to acquire and construct public improvements in and for said City; WHEREAS, on July 6, 1982, this Council adopted a resolution appointing time and place of hearing protests in relation to the proposed acquisitions and improvements and directing notice; WHEREAS, notice was given of the time and place therein stated in the manner provided by law, as appears from the certificates and affidavits on file in the office of the City Clerk; WHEREAS, said matter carne on regularly for hearing at the time therein fixed; and WHEREAS, all written protests and other written communications were publicly read at said meeting and all persons desiring to be heard were fully heard; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1. That protests against said acquisitions and improvements were not signed by the owners of a majority or more of the area of the lands within the assessment district, or of the area of the lands within the assessment district assessed for the cost and expenses of said acquisitions and improvements. 2. That said protests be, and each of them are hereby overruled. I, the undersigned hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular sleeting assembled on the 17th day of August, 1982, y the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President=Corica - 5.
