RESOLUTION NO. 9867
A RESOLUTION ORDERING REDUCTION OF ASSESSMENTS
MAITLAND DRIVE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT 1982 -1
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, California, that
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of the project under Resolution of
Intention No 9680 adopted by the Council of said City on January 19,
1982, as amended, was $568,107.00, of which the City of Alameda was to
contribute the estimated amount of $340,804.00, leaving an estimated
amount of $227,303.00 to be assessed; and
WHEREAS, following the opening of bids for the work the estimated
cost of the project may be reduced to $ 447,001.47
of which the
City of Alameda will contribute the estimated amount of $ 316,669.17
leaving the estimated amount of $ 130,342.30 to be assessed;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the total assessment
is hereby reduced to $ 130,342.30 and that each of the individual
assessments shall be reduced by its pro rata share of the difference
between the original assessment and the new assessment.
I, the undersigned hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th day of August, 1982,
the following vote, Lv wit:
