AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO ESA ENVIRONMENTAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT RELATIVE TO ENCINAL TERMINALS
MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, Environmental Science Associates, Inc., a
California corporation ("ESA") and the City entered into an
Environmental Services Agreement as of February 17, 1982 with
respect to the master plan for Encinal Terminals; and
WHEREAS, the City desires that the EIR consider several
alternatives not previously proposed nor included in the
present scope of work; and
WHEREAS, a proposed Amendment to the ESA Environmental
Services Agreement expanding the Scope of Services set forth
in the Agreement has been submitted to this Council, and the
Council is fully informed and aware of the terms thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda, that certain
Amendment to ESA Environmental Services Agreement referred to
above by and between Environmental Science Associates, Inc. and
the City of Alameda, to expand the Scope of Services set forth
in the Agreement relative to the Encinal Terminals Master Plan.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to attest same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th of September, l9OZ,'
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Stone and President Corica - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Sherratt - 1.
