DEDICATING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO PUBLIC USE FOR
STREET PURPOSES (HARBOR BAY PARKWAY FROM MAITLAND
DRIVE SOUTHERLY APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET - FIVE FEET WIDE)
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that certain real
property owned by the City of Alameda be dedicated to public use
for public street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the certain real property set out below, owned
by the City of Alameda, is hereby dedicated to public use for
public street purposes, said real property being situate in the
City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, and des-
cribed as follows:
BEGINNING at the most northern corner of the Harbor Bay
Parkway (formerly City Line Road) right-of-way
extension, as said extension is described in the document
recorded under Series No. 82-039799, Alameda County
Records;
THENCE along the northeastern boundary thereof, being also
the northern boundary of the land formerly owned by
Utah Construction Company, as shown on the map of
"Property of Utah Construction Company, Bay Farm
Island," recorded August 16, 1956 in Book 40 of Maps,
Page 53 in the Office of the Alameda County Recorder;
THENCE South 66° 47' 25" East, 5.00 feet to the existing
northwestern boundary of said Parkway;
THENCE along last said boundary, North 24° 17' 09 "East,
92.16 feet, more or less to the southwestern boundary
of Maitland Drive, as said Drive now exist
THENCE along last said boundary North 32° 11' 11° West, 6.00
feet, more or less, to a point which bears North
24° 17' 09" East, from the point of Beginning;
THENCE parallel with said northwestern boundary of said Parkway,
South 24 17' -09" West, 95.56 feet, more or less to
the BEGINNING.
Containing 469 square feet
or less.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing ReS0lutdOn was duly
and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda
in u special Council meeting assembled on the 10th day of September, l982,
