AWARDING CONTRACT TO BROADWAY MOTORS FOR FURNISHING
TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA ONE VAN VEHICLE FOR THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for furnishing one (1) Van
Vehicle for the Alameda Police Department in accordance with
Specifications No. MSP 7-82-2, approved on August 3, 1982; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Broadway Motors agreeing to furnish said van vehicle
in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $10,182.94;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said firm is a responsible bidder and that the
proposal submitted by said bidder is the lowest and best bid
received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of Broadway Motors
be accepted, the contract for furnishing one (1) Van Vehicle for
the Alameda Police Department be awarded to said bidder and that
the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to execute, and the City
Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hcreby certify that the foregoing Resolution Wi'AS
duly and regularly adopted and passed by ne Council of the City of Alada
in regular meeting assembled on the 21st of September, 1982, by the following
vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone, and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
