AWARDING CONTRACT FOR PAINTING AND DECORATING OF
PORTIONS OF CITY HALL TO GEORGE E. MASKER, INC.
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Painting and Decorating
of Portions of City Hall in accordance with Specifications and
Plans No, P.W. 7-82-14, approved on August 17, 1982; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by George E. Masker, Inc., agreeing to perform said
work in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of
$8,373.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said firm is a responsible bidder and that the
proposal submitted by said bidder is the lowest and best bid
received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of George E. Masker,
Inc. be accepted, the contract for the Painting and Decorating
of Portions of City Hall project be awarded to said bidder and
that the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to execute, and the
City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of
Alameda.
