APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO. 3854 FOR DIVISION OF LOTS
32 THRU 35, BLOCK 1, TRACT 3904, ON BAY FARM ISLAND,
PERMITTING RECORDING THEREOF AND FINDING SAID PARCEL
MAP CONSISTENT WITH CITY'S GENERAL PLAN
(PONDEROSA HOMES, SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, Ponderosa Homes, a Partnership, owner and sub -
divider herein, has presented to the Council for approval a Parcel
Map for resubdivision of Lots 32 thru 35 of Tract 3904, located
along the west side of Island Drive, south of Bridgeway Road, to
create two parcels and a street connecting Sea Bridge and Island
Drive, and known as Parcel Map No. 3854; and
WHEREAS, said Parcel Map delineates thereon a permanent
easement and right -of -way for public street purposes, in, over
under, across and along the parcel of land designated on said
map as "Oyster Shoals (Grant of Public Street Easement) ", granted
to the City of Alameda;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to Section 11- 319.1 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, Parcel. Map No 3854, heretofore accepted and
conditionally approved by the Planning Board, is hereby approved
and permission given to subdivider to record same, based upon, the
findings and subject to the conditions in City of Alameda Planning
Board Resolution No. 1270, passed on August 9, 1982; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said permanent easement and
right -of -way for public street purposes granted to the City of
Alameda is hereby accepted on behalf of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section 11- 3112(f)
of the Alameda Municipal Code the City Council finds Parcel Map
No 3854 is consistent with the City's General Plan, and pursuant
to Section 11- 3112(h) determines that discharge of waste from the
subdivision into the sewer system will not violate regional water
quality control regulations.
