AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH
BANK OF AMERICA FOR PURCHASE OF MAIL MACHINE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of
the City, a lease purchase plan proposed by the Bank of America
for the acquisition of a Pitney Bowes Model 6120 Mailing Machine
and a EMS -1:5 Scale at a cost of $8,655.28, to be paid over a
period of sixty (60) months at 10% annually.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that payment under said plan will
be made in the same manner that like claims against the City
are paid and shall be payable from the budget of the Purchasing
Department.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in an Adjourned Regular Meeting assembled on the
llth of October, 1982, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
