AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO SERVICE AGREEMENT
WITH GATES, McDONALD & COMPANY TO EXTEND THE EXISTING
AGREEMENT AND AMEND THE CONSIDERATION PROVISION
THEREOF, REaATING TO SELF - INSURED WORKERS' COMPENSATION
PROGRAM FOR THE CITY AND BUREAU OF ELECTRICITY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the City Manager and City Clerk be and each hereby is,
authorized to execute and to attest to respectively, on behalf
of the City, an amendment to the existing agreement for Workers'
Compensation Claims Administration Services for the City of Alameda
and the Bureau of Electricity with Gates, McDonald & Company,
providing for the extension of said agreement to October 31,
1983 and providing for self - renewal on a year -to -year basis
thereafter unless terminated as provided in said agreement, and
amending the consideration provisions thereof, said amendment
to service agreement to be substantially in the form of that
heretofore placed in the office of the City Clerk and marked,
"Filed, November 2, 1982."

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of Ihe City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd day of November, 1982, by the
following vote to wit:
