AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATION OF $20,000 FROM THE SEWER
SERVICE FUND FOR THE NORTHSIDE STORM DRAINAGE BASIN
STUDY
WHEREAS, this Council has requested a study of the flood-
ing problems in the north and west ends of the City, alternatives
and solutions to the problems, and a recommendation of the most
advantageous alternative to the problems; and
WHEREAS, a storm drainage study for the Northside Drain-
age Basis will require substantial study and investigation into
the interrelated problems of the general flooding in the area,
the Alameda Marina Village project, the Patton Way project and
the drainage flows from the Naval Air Station storm drain line;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that the sum of $20,000 is hereby appropriated
from the Sewer Service Charge Fund for the purpose of preparing
a Storm Drainage Study for the Northside Drainage Basin.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of .the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd day of November, 1982, by the
following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diument, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone, and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
