ACCEPTING ENGINEERING PROPOSAL
FROM WILLIAM B. KIRKLAND, JR. TO SURVEY AND PREPARE A
TENTATIVE MAP AND A FINAL RECORD MAP OF CITY PROPERTIES
EASTERLY OF FERNSIDE BOULEVARD AND EAST SHORE DRIVE FOR
TEE PURPOSE OF LEASING CITY PROPERTY TO ADJACENT LAND
OWNERS AND AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ACCEPTANCE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the Proposal of William B. Kirkland, Jr., Civil Engineer,
for civil engineering and surveying work to prepare a tentative
map and a final record map of the City property on San Leandro
Bay easterly of Fernside Boulevard and East Shore Drive behind
existing residential lots extending from 1246 East Shore Drive
to 3366 Fernside Boulevard for the purpose of leasing said City
property to the adjacent land owners, dated October 1, 1982 and
on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby approved and
accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute an acceptance of said Proposal on behalf
of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that payment for said services
shall be from Professional and Consulting Services Account No.
101-J200-5410; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Proposal and this Reso-
lution shall constitute the contract of the parties hereto.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly adopted and passed by the Council ofAhe City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd day of November, 1482, by the
following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diamont, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone, and President Corica - 5.
NOES: Nnne,
ABSENT: None.
