Resolution 09927CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 9927 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITE NATIONAL DISTRICT FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION FOR MAIN STREET U.S.A.. PROGRAM WHEREAS, on October 11, 1922, this Council accepted a report from the Historical Advisory Commission regarding re- vitalization alternatives for the City's downtown areas and authorized the City's contribution of up to $750 for partial funding of a seminar/workshop to be conducted by the National Main Street Center of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Washington, D.C. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager be and hereby is authorized to execute on behalf of the City, a Proposal for Advisory Services to the City of Alameda and the Alameda Victorian Preservation Society with the National Main Street Center of the National Turst for Historic Preservation, for its services in connection with the development of revitalization plans for Alameda's Zast End and West End commercial areas.
